Located approximately 60 miles West of Broken Bow is The Honobia Creek Wildlife Management Area that covers 80,000 acres in southeast Oklahoma. It includes part of the Ouachita National Forest and a stretch of privately owned timberlands, and includes the Upper Mountain Fork, Glover and Eagle Fork rivers.  The prime activities in the Honobia area are hunting and fishing. The area is roamed by white-tailed deer, turkey, quail, dove, rabbit and other game. Anglers can find sunfish and bass in area rivers, as well as small ponds peppered throughout the land full of bass, sunfish and channel catfish. The area is ideal for hunters and anglers with its variety of game and fish species. Trails are available for mountain biking and limited ATV usage.  A Land Access Permit is required to enter the area, and although it contains no designated camping areas, primitive camping is allowed.
